PreK
PreK Learning to love school
The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.
Dr. Seuss
Prekindergarten programming at Montgomery focuses on social and emotional development so children learn how to navigate new experiences with a strong sense of self and a sensitivity to others.
Classrooms are designed to introduce new concepts every day—building layers of understanding on top of what children already know. In this way, students are well-prepared for the structure and more subject-based studies in the primary school years.
Through a thoughtfully planned mix of play-based activities that inspire the imagination, hone fine motor skills, promote creative problem solving, and foster interpersonal relationships, the PreK day is a full day and we know we’ve succeeded as teachers when our preschoolers can’t wait to come back tomorrow.
