Montgomery Day Camp Hosted by Geoventures

Montgomery School is excited to partner with Geoventures to host our day camp program. Geoventures' team of experts utilizes games, technology and unique storylines to create nature-based adventures that inspire students of all ages to explore the world around them. 

Dates and Times
Week 1: August 23 - 27th (Mon-Fri) 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Week 2: August 30 -Sept 2 (Mon-Thurs) 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Extended Care - 8:00 - 9:00 AM and 3:00 - 4:00 PM 

Week 1 (5 days):  $375 
Sibling discount rate is $350
Extended care: $15 per day 

Week 2 (4 days): $300  
Sibling discount rate is $275
Extended care $15 per day

Theme: Adventure Squad Jr. 
Ages: PreK - 4th Grade 


Get ready to uncover the mysteries of nature one adventure at a time! Together we’ll encounter creatures, identify prints and tracks, explore ecosystems, play stealthy games and hunt for treasure. Join us for a great adventure every day!

Week 1: August 23 - 27
Theme: Adventure Squad Sr. 
Ages: 5th - 8th Grade  


Prepare for some great adventures outdoors! Our quests, challenges, and games make us ready for anything in the woods. We’ll try our hands at shelter building, navigation, signaling, animal tracking, moving with stealth and more. Join us for a great adventure every day! 

Week 2: August 30 - Sept. 2
Theme: Geocaching
All Ages (PreK-8th Grade)

Geocaching is a hi-tech scavenger hunt combining GPS tracking with a series of clues leading you through a course of hidden surprises. Experienced staff will guide you during this active game as you learn how to use a GPS unit for geocaching, explore the outdoors as you search for hidden caches, and gain expertise as the hunts become more challenging.

Typical Camp Day
Times are approximate

8:00-9:00am: Extended care/arrival* 
9:00-9:30am: Opening game 
9:30-10:15am: First Lesson and Activity (a focused skill)
10:15-10:30am: Snack Break 
10:30am-12:00pm: Second Lesson and Activity (an active skill)
12:00-12:30pm: Lunch Break
12:30-1:30pm: Pool Break**
1:30-3:00pm: Third Lesson and Activity (an exploration)
3:00-4:00pm: Extended Care* 

*Children who attend the Extended Care program will engage in nature-based art projects and play.

**Swimming is optional.  Children may choose to stay with counselors for activities versus going to the pool. Parents are welcome to send a life jacket of choice.
