Thursdays, Feb, 14, 21, 28, March (NOT 7), 14, 21, 3:45-4:45pm

We have opened up the workshop of fun, creativity, and of course -- engineering! Over the course, students will invent new machines and explore creative design solutions using the Engineering Design Process. Discover how animation works and design your own drawing robot inside the Engineering Inventor's Workshop.

Chess: K-5th, Mondays, Jan. 7, 14, (Not 21), 28, Feb. 4, from 3:45-4:45pm

Chess is a game of mental skill. It focuses the mind and strengthens problem-solving skills. Chess teaches its players how to think several steps ahead and to anticipate several possible moves from their opponents. Chess is definitely a "Mind Game" molding the mind and building mental aptitude. Whether you have played before or are learning for this first time this class is a blast!

Ms. Janney will take the PreKers on a journey of discovery through fun science observations and experiments! Lot's of hands on learning and plenty of time for questions! All PreK scientists welcome!

Come join the fun and learn Karate from Phoenix Karate right here at Montgomery!. This class will teach confidence, self discipline, and sense of self, along with Martial Art skills all while having fun! Whether you have taken this class before or not, no matter!

The Junior Chemical Engineering classes introduce our youngest engineers to fundamental concepts of solids, liquids, and solutions. Students investigate the properties of several crazy concoctions and make their own samples of bubbles, play dough, flub, and more!

Mondays, Feb. 11, (NOT 18), 25, March 4, 11, from 3:30-4:30pm

Ms. Knauer will teach you how to work with wet clay to create several projects. Learn how to layer, shape, and texture the wet clay to create 3D pieces. All clay will be fired and glazed to make your art extra beautiful and functional.

Create Your Own 3D Video Games and Animations - All New

Welcome to our 3D animation and video game studio. The children will have fun and be fully engaged as they learn and put to use the fundamentals of game design. They will direct characters, their movements, interactions, and sounds as well as using control keys to direct specific actions to take place. By the end, they will have created their own animations and video games based on their imaginations and everything they have learned.

Wednesdays, Feb. 20, 27, March 6, 13, 20, from 3:45-4:45pm

During the Marine Engineering classes, students use the Engineering Design Process to design, create, test, and refine several types of marine based devices and vehicles. Students construct working prototypes that teach and reinforce the concepts of above water transportation, underwater exploration, and harnessing the power of water. They gain exposure to careers in naval, ocean, and marine engineering as well as naval architecture.
