Montgomery graduate and Malvern Prep freshman guard Deuce Turner '16 was named Rookie of the Year by Rick O'Brien at Philly.com. He averaged 19.3 points, 2.3 steals, and 1.9 assists in his freshman year. He drilled 47 three-pointers. The 6-foot Turner poured in 38 points, with 21 in the first half and 17 in the second, in a 102-89 nonleague triumph over host St. Joseph's Prep. Way to go Deuce!

Congratulations to Montgomery graduate, David '13, now an Eagle Scout!
"Eagle Scout is the highest achievement or rank attainable in the Boy Scouting program of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). The designation 'Eagle Scout' was founded over one hundred years ago. Only four percent of Boy Scouts are granted this rank after a lengthy review process."
As part of his project David re-built the garden beds which were crumbling in Montgomery School's organic garden. David's ceremony included a special citation from PA Representative Becky Corbin. Congratulations, David!
Katharine Conklin '14, was accepted into Youth Leadership Jacksonville's Class XXVII. Only 56 students were selected from high schools in Jacksonville. YLJ seeks out students from diverse backgrounds who share the desire to make a positive impact in their community and the skills and motivation to do so. Students were chosen based on their accomplishments and leadership inside and outside of the classroom.
Elizabeth Conklin '16 was presented with the Great Oak Award of Distinction at the Episcopal School of Jacksonville. This award is presented to a Middle School girl and a Middle School boy who have made outstanding contributions to every aspect of school life: academics, athletics, fine arts, character, honor and service.
Laura Lewis '15 traveled to Windsor, Ontario for the FIRST Robotics Windsor Essex Great Lakes Regional Competition. Earlier this month, the team placed second at the Mid-Atlantic Robotics Competition at Springside-Chestnut Hill.
