Response to COVID-19
Welcome to Montgomery School’s Flexible Learning Resource Center — your online destination for everything you need to know about school in the time of COVID-19.
First and foremost, you need to know that your child’s and your family’s safety is our number one priority. Montgomery School faculty and staff are adhering to all CDC and state recommendations while adding extra layers of protection to support the health of everyone in our community. While implementing our initial response to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as while planning our subsequent courses of action, we have been and continue to be committed to:
- protecting the health and safety of students, faculty, staff, and the extended Montgomery School community
- fulfilling our mission and continuing to challenge students across all instructional modalities
- strengthening the essential bonds of our community in new ways
No matter where Montgomery students are learning—relationships are central to their experience, academic foundations are strengthened, independence is practiced, and deep thinking is fostered. Teachers model what it means to adapt and succeed in the face of adversity while we all work together with a sense of joy and purpose.

While we are excited we are able to conduct in-person teaching and learning, we also know that COVID-19 continues to evolve and will require us to be flexible. We are prepared to deliver your child's Montgomery education no matter where that learning takes place and have formulated two learning scenarios to accommodate changing conditions. Both scenarios will continue to offer your children the essential relationships that define our student experience, while ensuring that individual progress continues on track throughout the 2020-21 school year.
