Crafty Chef: I HEART Food with Dr. Chanelle Bishop-Gilyard P'24 '27 '30

Grades: PK-5

Starts February 1

The Crafty Chef Academy is excited to bring you crafty and creatively satisfying fun with food!  We call it “edible art”. The Crafty Chef Academy is known for “over-the-top” classes that build skills that will last a lifetime! In addition to fun, your little chef will use food as the platform to apply their growing knowledge of science, math, language, art, and more. Learn more about this course on the Enrichments page of our website.

Mindfulness with Lisa Halpin P'27

Grades 3-5

Starts February 2

Students will learn techniques to help them pay attention in the present moment to their thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, or surrounding environment. Studies find that learning mindfulness benefits students in terms of improved attention, emotion regulation, behavior in school, empathy and understanding of others, social skills, test anxiety, and stress. Learn more about this course on the Enrichments page of our website.
