Volunteers Still Needed for Fall Fun Day

Fall Fun day is almost here! Join us this Tuesday, October 31st. We especially need parent volunteers to dress in costume for the hayride. Check the volunteer signup sheet below for opportunities to help out.

Volunteer Clearances Required

Please remember to submit your clearances if you would like to volunteer in your child’s classroom or participate in a field trip. For details, visit the volunteer clearances page under the Quicklinks tab on the website.  Please collect all 3 clearances before submitting them to Linda Jones. If you're unsure if your clearances are due, please email Linda Jones to inquire. 

Order Your Yearbook!

Click below to place your order before Thanksgiving and receive the discounted rate of $60.00. For our 8th grade families, don't forget to purchase your tribute ad in honor of your child's last year at Montgomery.

Fall Fun Day and Dress Down Day

Fall Fun Day is a special event for classmates and buddies to spend time together and  participate in festive activities. Students may dress down and are encouraged to dress warm.

Noon Dismissal - CAR LINE ONLY

There will be an ALL School CAR ONLY Dismissal at NOON on Fall Fun Day. No Afternoons or PM Buses will be provided for 12pm dismissal. All families must update their dismissal plan in PUP by selecting the "Oct 31st Fall Fun Day 12pm Car Only Pick Up" option for that day only. Thank you!

Middle School Athletic Assembly

3:15 Bell Hall

Families are invited to join us for the athletic assembly for the fall season. Please refer to  Mrs. Blair's email for details about Transition Week and the winter after-school program.

Sunday, November 5

Fall Open House 

1:00 - 3:00 PM

Help us spread the word! There is a stash of Open House yard signs on the Farmhouse front porch. Please grab a sign for your yard at your convenience. Thanks for your help!

Coming Up

Week of November 6 - 10

ALL SCHOOL 3:15 DISMISSAL (No Sports/Art)

There will be no Middle School sports or arts during this week. The 3:15 PM buses will be available for Middle School students. Please make the changes for the week in PUP for your child to go home either 3:15 car or on their 3:15 bus (This would be the bus # they ride normally on Fridays at 3:15 for this week).

Winter Uniform Begins

The winter uniform includes items such as long pants, Montgomery sweater or fleece jacket, tights/leggings, and long sleeve tops. If the forecast is in the 70’s and above students can wear shorts. Please refer to the Uniform Policy for more details.

Book Group for 5th-8th Grade Families

6:00 - 7:30 PM

The first book group meeting for 5th-8th grade parents, caregivers, and faculty will be held in the Gresh Library. Please see Mr. Vandegrift's email for more details. 

Wednesday, November 8

Diwali All School Chapel 

8:30 AM 

Join us for a special holiday chapel on Wednesday, November 8. This is an all-school chapel so all students will be in attendance. 

Friday, November 10

Veterans Day Chapel

We'd like to extend an invitation to all the veterans in our community to join us for this special celebration.
