Making an Impact

Montgomery's Student Government Committee was asked to imagine how they can make an impact in their roles as leaders. Based on a suggestion from one of their teammates, they decided they would focus on the theme of "community." Watch the video above to hear which word they chose to represent their thoughts about what it means to be a leader and make an impact in their community.

Absences, Late Arrivals, Early Dismissals

Please remember to record your child’s absence in the PUP app by 9am. Early dismissals and late arrivals should also be recorded in PUP.

Holiday Gift Fund - Due Monday 12/12

If you wish to contribute towards the Holiday Gift Fund for faculty and staff, please do so by Monday, December 12th. There are various ways to donate:

Mindfulness with Lisa Halpin P'27

PreK-2nd Grade

Starts January 10

Students will learn techniques to help them pay attention in the present moment to their thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, or surrounding environment. Studies find that learning mindfulness benefits students in terms of improved attention, emotion regulation, behavior in school, empathy and understanding of others, social skills, test anxiety, and stress. PreK families are invited to join us for a special holiday presentation in Bell Hall. Our young learners are excited to perform for you!

Holiday Concert

Join us for special holiday performances presented by our 3rd-8th grade students!

Students in grades 3-5 should wear dress or pants/skirt with sweater or oxford. (No dress shoe requirement).

Hanukkah Chapel

Hanukkah Chapel will be presented by Mrs. Clay’s 2nd Grade Class and First Grade Singers.

Drop the Dress Code

Students may wear "pj's or comfy clothes" to celebrate the holidays on Monday, December 19. Students should wear sneakers so we can enjoy being outside.

Christmas Chapel

Christmas Chapel will be presented by 8th grade students and kindergarten singers.

ALL School 3:15 PM Dismissal - No Afternoons Program

There will be buses and a carline for Lower and Middle school students at 3:15pm. Middle School bus students should take their 3:15 Friday bus number bus home. This change is needed in PUP. If you will be attending the Chapel, please plan to pick up your child in their classroom or advisory following Chapel. There is a special Dec. 20th classroom pick up in PUP for this day. Please make a change in PUP based on the 3:15pm dismissal choices listed above.

Wednesday, December 21

Winter Break Begins

There will be no school for students Wednesday, December 21 - Monday, January 3. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 4. We wish you all a happy, safe, and healthy holiday season!
