Gresh Memorial Golf Classic

Thank you to everyone in our community who came out to Montgomery School’s Gresh Memorial Golf Classic this past Tuesday at RiverCrest Golf Club & Preserve in Phoenixville! We were fortunate to have perfect golfing weather - warm, sunny, and breezy - and a packed course with parent, grandparent, friend, alumni, and faculty golfers. As the first social fundraising event of the year, we are so thankful to our golfers and reception guests and our incredibly generous event sponsors. A special thank you to our presenting sponsor, Madeira Oil, ℅ Perry Gresh in memory of his father.

Our golfers enjoyed 18 holes of competitive golf on RiverCrest’s beautiful grounds. Our community came together for a day of laughter, fun, and friendship culminating in a cocktail reception sponsored by The Gilbert Family and a dinner sponsored in memory of Christine Schaffer. Christine was fondly remembered by family and friends as a former member of the Montgomery School staff and a friend to our entire community.

We raised almost $60,000 to support our students and our school! A special shout out to our Monty families and family businesses that sponsored holes at the outing. Keep an eye out on campus for the hole sponsor signs featuring our family businesses!

PUP Dismissal

Please use PUP (PickUp Patrol) to report LATE Arrivals, Absences, and Early Dismissals. Deadline for reporting Absences is by 8:45am the day of. If your child is leaving early for an appointment and returning to school, you will need to update PUP with their afternoon dismissal plan once they return to campus. Thank you!

Looking for Legos

Middle school needs your help! Our students have created a LEGO building elective. This elective is about using your mind to create anything you want out of legos. Lego teaches various skills that will shape the way you work and interact with other people like, creative thinking, teamwork, communication, conflict resolution and problem solving skills. We will be doing multiple projects, one is something called one cup. It is where you get a big box of legos and a cup, you scoop up lego to the top of the cup and you have 8 mins to create something that goes with the theme of the battle. We would also like to build one larger project together! If you have any LEGOS to donate, they would be greatly appreciated! We would also love any donations of unbuilt sets. As a reminder for those who signed up for retakes, the new portraits will replace the original ones, and the original photos will no longer be available as a selection option.

Parents will meet in Bell Hall at 7:00 PM, followed by classroom presentations. Parents will receive a schedule to follow for the evening in Bell Hall.

Students will participate in team building activities and community service projects with their peers.

Student Portraits Order Deadline

The proofs of your student's portraits were sent to your inbox on Wednesday, September 21st. The deadline to order is Monday, October 3rd. Those who have signed up for retakes will receive their new proofs prior to the deadline so orders can be placed on time.
