Legacy & Growth - Expansion Project

We are excited to announce that Montgomery School broke ground on the Gresh Academic Center expansion project last Thursday! Upon completion, the 3,500 sq. ft space will house a large performance and multipurpose space, and an innovation suite with two classrooms – one focused on technology and the other a makerspace for students. We are grateful for the leadership donors who have stepped forward in support of this project including current Board Trustees, Montgomery families, as well the late Mr. Gresh’s wife, Tucker, and his son, Perry. Please email Ms. Jones to let us know if you have a special family member or friend joining us for Chapel on Friday so we can be sure they are honored and acknowledged.

Fall Celebrations at Montgomery School

Montgomery School is a special place to be during the fall season. As soon as the leaves begin to change you can feel the excitement start to build around Trick or Trunk and Fall Fun Day, and this year was no exception! THIS WEEK

Week of November 7 - 11

ALL SCHOOL 3:15 DISMISSAL (No Middle School Sports/Art)

There will be no Middle School sports or arts during this week. The 3:15 PM buses will be available for Middle School students. Please make the changes for the week in PUP for your child to go home either 3:15 car or on their 3:15 bus (This would be the bus # they ride normally on Fridays at 3:15 for this week). 

There are no changes to any other after school programs, including enrichments and OT sports - they will all take place next week as scheduled. Afternoons is available all week.

Veterans Day Chapel

This year's chapel will be presented by Mrs. Batson's 4th grade class. We'd like to extend an invitation to all the veterans in our community to join us on Friday. Please email Ms. Jones to let us know if you will be bringing a special guest with you.

COMING UP

Monday, November 14

Middle School Musical and Basketball Begin

The winter after-school program starts on Monday, November 14 and will continue through Thursday, February 23.  

Musical (Beauty and the Beast Jr.): All participants must attend the first rehearsal on Monday, November 14.  From then on, students will spend the next two weeks playing and learning several different roles, songs, and choreography. Final auditions will take place early December. Once the official cast list is posted students will focus on their assigned role only. 

Basketball: Students are expected to participate in practice on the first day of the season (November 14) and will need to bring to school their Montgomery practice clothes and a sturdy pair of sneakers.  Basketball sneakers are recommended but not required. The schedules for the basketball season are complete and available on our website under Quicklinks - Athletics schedule.

Fall Fun Day Thank You!

This year’s Fall Fun Day was a wonderful event, thanks to the support of the Montgomery community. Thanks to everyone who helped make this such a special day!

The Rack

Stock up on winter uniforms at The Rack! Check in at the Farmhouse during school hours. The Rack accepts cash, check, and VENMO. If you have items to donate, please leave them in the marked bin on the Farmhouse porch.
