Dear Montgomery School Families and Friends,

Over the past year, Montgomery School has been building a new space on campus for our teachers and students to utilize as they explore, design, build, and learn. The Design and Fabrication Labs will be the new home for our design thinking and maker activities, in an environment that inspires exploration and imagination. The Collaboration Hub is a multi-use space for everything from student presentations and performances to exhibitions and creative project displays. Together with the J. Bennett Hill library located on the upper level, the new spaces are part of Montgomery’s transformative Innovation Center.

A project of this magnitude requires significant support from our community. Thanks to the incredible generosity of leadership donors, the initial funds were raised to kick off the project and to finalize it in time for the 2023-2024 school year. 

As we prepare to open the doors for our students at a special all-school chapel on Friday, September 8th we are reaching out to you to ask for your support in the final weeks of the project.

Our community members are our most enthusiastic supporters and there are many ways that you can show your support for creativity, innovation, and exploration in the new Center.

Support Funding
Join with our leadership donor families in making a monetary contribution. With more than half of the funds raised for the project, we are inviting our community to help us close the gap on the financial cost of the project. Gifts of any amount are greatly appreciated and those over $1,000 will be recognized on a donor wall in the Innovation Center.

Sponsor Equipment

At the heart of the new Innovation Center will be a suite of new technology and technological resources for our students including new 3D printers, a Glowforge 3D laser printer, interactive panels, podcasting equipment, theatrical lighting, sound equipment, robotics equipment, new computers, and more! Sponsors of this equipment will be recognized on the donor wall and on the equipment where possible. 

Purchase Supplies

A new space of this magnitude requires lots of supplies for our students to expand their minds! We have an Amazon Wish List packed with items to outfit the Design and Fabrication Labs. Anything you purchase will be shipped directly to school and will be available to our students as soon as they arrive.

We can’t wait to have this space filled with our students as they explore, create, and innovate in this cutting-edge center.
