Dear Middle School Families,

We are excited for the upcoming Welcoming Day event, and even more excited for the first day of school on Tuesday, September, 6th. Please read the below information to prepare for the beginning of the school year!

Arrival and Dismissal: It is important for middle school aged students to arrive at school on time, so they are prepared for the day. We will begin programming at 8:20am, so please make sure that students arrive in enough time to be settled by 8:20am. Make sure to review the arrival and dismissal procedures that were recently sent to families.

Adventure Day: The Schedule is finalized for Adventure Day on Friday, September 9th. Each student must have this waiver completed to participate in the day. The waiver should be signed and forwarded to Wendy Walton (wwalton@montgomeryschool.org) by Friday, September 2nd. Information for the trip:

Students should still arrive at school by 8:20am. We are boarding buses at 8:30am! We will return to campus at 5:00pm for pick up.
Lunch and a morning snack will be included in the trip.
Suggested attire from Refreshing Mt.: Weather appropriate, athletic, attire. Closed toe shoes required (i.e. sneakers).

Information for 8th Grade Families: A separate email will be sent to you with information around Chapel presentations and the Secondary School process, which can also be found here, on the Parent Portal of our website.
