The Montgomery community gathered together in Bell Hall for the first All School Chapel on Friday. Each year, 8th grade students escort Kindergarten students to their first Chapel. Kindergarten takes their seat in the front row as 8th grade is seated in the last row. This time-honored tradition is a beautiful representation of the students' Montgomery experience from kindergarten through 8th grade. |

- Wednesdays - Lower School Chapel
- Fridays - All School Chapel
Chapel is a series of non-sectarian, character-based lessons, which give students an important platform for thinking about meaningful topics together. |

Get to Know Middle School Are you a current 4th or 5th grade parent that wants to learn more about Montgomery's middle school program? Sign up for one of our Middle School Look & Learn events this fall. They will be taking place on 10/14, 11/15, and 12/2. The event will take place from 9:15-10:30 AM (Immediately following chapel). Request from the Art Department
Ms. Knauer is looking for donations of paper maps to be used in an upcoming art project. If you have maps that you no longer need, please consider sending them in. As always, thank you for supporting art at Montgomery! |

Thursday, September 22 Lower School Parent's Night, PreK-4th Grade 7:00 PM
Parent's Night will begin in Bell Hall for a brief gathering and parents will then move into their child's classroom. 5th Grade Families will be invited to attend Middle School Parent's Night on Thursday, September 29th. |

| Saturday, September 24 Emergency Notification Test 11:00 AM
We will conduct a TEST of our alert notification system through RUVNA @ 11:00am on Saturday. Please let Mrs. Blair know if you do not receive a text and email from Montgomery School at that time. This program will be used to send critical notifications, such as snow days, early dismissal, canceled events, etc., to families throughout the year.

Monday, September 26 Rosh Hashanah, No School In observance of Rosh Hashanah, there will be NO SCHOOL on September 26th. Classes will resume on Tuesday, September 27th. MSD Camp by Geoventures

| Thursday, September 29 5th Grade and Middle School Parent's Night 7:00 PM Parents will meet in Bell Hall at 7:00 PM, followed by classroom presentations. Parents will receive a schedule to follow for the evening in Bell Hall. |

Friday, September 30 8th Grade Leadership Retreat Milky Way Farm Students will participate in team building activities and community service projects with their peers. |

Upgraded Faculty Lounge
The MSCA spent some time over the summer to refresh the faculty room. We were excited to transform this space for the awesome teachers of Montgomery School and hope that they enjoy their updated space. A special Thank You to EM Interiors, Mia Miller, for her leadership on this project.
