Greek and Roman Games & All School Picnic
Friday, May 19th beginning at 9:00 am

Join us on Friday to cheer on all our students and their teams at Greek and Roman Games! The marching in will begin promptly at 9:00 am on the fields. An all school picnic will follow the games. All students in K-8th grades will participate in the Games.

• Students have received a "Greek and Roman Games" T-shirt to wear during the games.  
• Romans wear maroon mesh shorts and Greeks wear grey mesh shorts.  Shorts are available for purchase in the gym at a cost of $15 (check or cash). Make checks payable to Montgomery School.   

Pets are not permitted at the games, so please leave your animals at home. Thank you.

Moving Up Day 

Moving Up will be Wednesday, June 7th at 10 am in the Gym. For the new families who haven't experienced Moving Up, this is an end of the year celebration with a major focus on the 5th grade and celebrating their years in Lower School before heading off to Middle School.  All Lower School families are invited to attend this special celebration event.  

Attire:

• Fifth grade boys should wear a button down shirt (preferably white) with a tie, pressed pants, a navy blue blazer and nice shoes - school shoes are fine, but please no sneakers.
• Fifth grade girls should wear spring dresses and dressy shoes.  Please avoid strapless dresses- experience  has been that they never fit this age group quite right so girls worry about proper fit and coverage. Avoid high heels please since the fifth graders process on to the stage one at a time, climb stairs, step over wires and walk often during the ceremony.
• All other Lower School students should be in Friday uniform attire.

Hello from the Nurse's Office!

As we all prepare to depart for our summer vacation I wanted to offer a few reminders on health requirements for next year. I know many students have their yearly physical and dental checkups over the summer so I wanted you to be prepared and know what to ask their doctors for. The State of Pennsylvania requires Physicals for all new students and those entering Kindergarten and 6th grade. All Middle School students participating in sports must have a completed PIAA Physical every year in order to participate. FAME Concert, May 25, 7pm in Bell Hall

The FAME concert features 3rd grade choir, 4th and 5th grade chorus and Middle School Chorus. Please join us for this special annual event.

6:15 pm prompt for Middle School students

6:30 pm prompt for Lower School students

Lower School Performance Attire:
BOYS:

Khaki dress pants (no shorts), solid color collared dress shirt, (polo or button-down),  dress shoes  (no sneakers/sandals), dress socks (not white)

GIRLS:  Any combination of the following.

Dress (no strapless, length to below fingertips as you stand), khaki pants or skirt (skirt also to length below fingertips as you stand), solid color blouse or polo, dark dress shoes (no flip flops/sneakers/sandals)

Middle  School Performance Attire
BOYS:

Khaki dress pants (no shorts), solid color collared dress shirt (polo or button-down), dress shoes  (no sneakers/sandals), dress socks (not white)
GIRLS: Any combination of the following.
