Middle School Musical - March 2-4

Montgomery's Middle School presents Guys and Dolls JR - March 2-4 right here in Bell Hall. Tickets are available here and via Quicklinks.  Show times are 7:30 pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, and a Saturday matinee at 2:00 pm.  Tickets for the show are also available to the general public - the musical is a wonderful way to show a prospective family what magic happens here at Montgomery. 

Pre-Order Flowers for your Guys and Dolls Star!

The 8th Grade Class is offering large and small bouquets and individual flowers for sale at each of the performances. The flowers are available on a pre-order basis and can be picked up outside of Bell Hall before each show. There will be a very limited number of extra flowers available for sale at the event, so we encourage families to pre-order to ensure availability. Prices are $25 for large mixed bouquets, $20 for small mixed bouquets and $5 for individual flowers. You can pre-order your flowers by clicking here.

Website Updates

You may have noticed that our website looks different this week. We are always working to improve the site and keep it up to date. To find information for parents, go to the My Montgomery tab, and select "Parents".  There is also a quicklinks tab where you will find links to often used pages such as the dismissal form and the Schoolhouse News archives. The website is responsive, so it will adjust to your device.  Please contact Stacey Kley with any questions or feedback.

Conference Scheduling

If you have not already done so, please use the Pick-A-Time conference system to schedule your parent-teacher conferences. (Click here) Lower School parents may schedule conferences with their child's homeroom and specials teachers for Thursday, March 9th from 4:00 - 7:00 pm, and Friday, March 10th from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.   Middle School parents may schedule conferences with their child's teachers for Thursday, March 9th from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm, and Friday, March 10th from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm. Click here to access the instructions. The last day to schedule is Wednesday, March 8th at 6:00 pm. 

Conference Day Drop in Centers are Back! 

On Friday, March 10th from 8am-4pm there will be free Drop in Centers set up for your children in Bell Hall while you are in your conference. Parents will only need to sign their children in and out. Fun activities for all!

Mark your Calendars for a Night of Intrigue - Saturday, April 22
The 2017 Benefit is coming together behind the efforts of amazing volunteers, a new venue, and auction items sure to captivate your interest. This is an event you won't want to miss! Watch the mailbox for your personal invitation.

Looking to get involved but have minimal hours to provide? Join us on Tuesday, March 14 at 8:30 am in the Dining Room for a meeting to outline opportunities where you can get involved for just a few hours but provide a huge impact on our largest event of the year. Time is still an issue? Consider donating an item for auction. No donation is too small and surely none are too big.  Remember this event raises funds to support the educational opportunities for all our students. Auction items can be submitted through March 24th.

5th Grade Spring Sports

This Spring we will offer the 5th graders the opportunity to play on the Middle School lacrosse teams and softball team.   Students who choose to participate in this program will practice with the Middle School teams on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15 - 4:15 PM, and they will play in 3 games during the spring season.  Practice will begin on Tuesday, April 4th and the final practice will be Thursday, May 18th.  This will not conflict with the 5th grade play practices. Dine Out Event! Tuesday, March 7th

Enjoy a delicious meal at Zoup! while earning money for the MSCA. The Collegeville and Exton Zoup! locations will donate 20% of Montgomery sales on March 7th to benefit the school. You must present this voucher in order for Montgomery to receive the credit. Both locations will donate 20% of voucher sales to benefit the school. Please invite your friends and family! Dine-in or carry-out.

Fairytale Theater & Comedy Theater Start Next Week...

Don't miss out on these great enrichments starting Tuesday, March 7th with SALT Theater! K-2nd will work on acting out a Fairytale Theater production & 3rd-5th will be doing Improv and Comedy! After seeing the MS Musical your kids will have the acting bug! Deadline is Sat. March 4th! Click here to sign up.

Carline Safety

Please do not pull around in carline.  This creates a dangerous situation with cars pulling out unexpectedly, and safety is always our first priority.  Children sometimes move slowly getting in and out of cars - thank you for your patience.

Mother/Son Bowling Event - March 19th!

The evite regarding the Mother/Son bowling event on March 19 has been shared with all families.  Please RSVP through the evite and send payment through your child's folder or drop it off with Patty Kirkner in the Farmhouse.  If you have a son and did not receive the evite,  please email Donna Myles or call her at 484-883-7379.

Minding Your Mind  -  March 8th, 7:00 pm in the Library

"Just Talk About It" The interactive presentation is designed to promote factual knowledge, promote discussion, ease communication and enlighten teachers, parents, and students to the warning signs of mental health issues in adolescents and teens.  Invite your colleagues, co-workers, and friends to join us!  Babysitting will be available for Montgomery children PreK-6. A Big Thank you for Sweetheart Dance

On behalf of the committee for the Sweetheart dance, we would like to extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended and who donated their time, energy and effort to help with set up and clean up.  In a few short hours we pulled together an amazing event, that will surely be in our girls' memories forever!  We transformed the café into an Under the Sea adventure, and we were so happy to see so many smiling faces!  And we couldn't have done it without the help of our community!  So THANKS again!  Kelli Offshack, Jose Orozco and Kim Beckey.
