Coffee with the Head of School - Friday 2/10
Please join us for Coffee with the Head of School this Friday, February 10 at 9:00 am in the Dining Room, immediately following chapel. The focus of the coffee will be our Strategic Planning process.

RSVP's Due on 2/10 for Sweetheart Dance

The Under the Sea - Sweetheart Dance will be held on Saturday, February 25th.  Kindly RSVP no later than February 10th.  For online payment and RSVP, please select "Sweetheart Dance" (can also be found under the Montgomery School Quicklinks) or return RSVP card with check payment to Patty Kirkner in the Farmhouse.  SNOW DATE is scheduled for March 11th.  Interested in volunteering or have questions?  Contact Kelli Offshack.

Annual Benefit Meeting - Tuesday, February 14
Please mark your calendars for Tuesday, February 14 at 9:00 am in the Dining Room. The agenda will address updates on auction items, decor planning and the evening's format.  We have some wonderful updates to provide, including great 'Experiences' that have been confirmed for auction. We could use continued support in securing silent auction items.  If you cannot attend the meeting but have items in mind for donation, please reach out and we will be happy to work with you to secure the items! Looking forward to seeing you there.

Benefit Sponsorships and Donated Goods
We are in the peak of the Benefit planning season. This annual event is the school's largest fundraiser/friendraiser and our students are the recipients of the evening's success. If you are interested in a sponsorship, please contact Allison Stinger by Thursday, February 16th in order to be listed in the invitation. Do you have an item(s) that you think would be perfect as an auction item? Maybe it is dinner at a favorite restaurant, or an item from your favorite boutique. Perhaps you have tickets to a sporting event or upcoming concert that you just know would raise funds to support our students. Quite possibly, you have a favorite item that would package beautifully with other donations being made. Remember, no donation is too small and surely, none are too large. You can make a difference! Please contact Allison Stinger with any questions or to arrange delivery of your item.  

A Reminder to Preorder your Yearbook by March 23

Montgomery School produces a beautiful, full color, professionally bound yearbook and spring supplement. It's a great way to look back at highlights of the 2016-2017 school year. Yearbooks will be distributed early in June. The final order deadline is Thursday, March 23rd. Please use this link to order your yearbook or find us on the Montgomery School website under "Quicklinks".

Mother/Son Bowling Event - March 19!

The evite regarding the Mother/Son bowling event on March 19 was sent last week.  Please RSVP through the evite and send payment through your child's folder or you may drop it off with Patty Kirkner in the Farmhouse.  If you have a son and did not receive the evite,  please email Donna Myles or call her at 484-883-7379.

Reporting Absences

When contacting the school to report that your child is absent or late, please email the teacher (LS) or advisor (MS) and also copy dismissal@montgomeryschool.org.  If you would like more information regarding procedures around school absence, please see page 10-11 of the Parent-Student Handbook, available on quicklinks.

Dismissal Safety 

To help ensure the safety of all students and help manage our traffic flow at dismissal, we are asking that ALL those who participate in car pickup use their car tag, provided to each family on Welcoming Day.  This will help keep carline moving and thus reducing the back up onto Route 113. Please place the tag in the windshield, where the dismissal staff can see it.   If you need an additional car tag, please contact Patty Kirkner in the Farmhouse, and we are happy to provide one. Our local police have asked that all vehicles observe the 15 mph speed zone when pulling out of Montgomery School onto Route 113.  Thank you for your help!
