Tuition and Affordability

Montgomery School offers tuition assistance to families with demonstrated need - the difference between what a family can afford to pay as determined by the proprietary formula applied by Clarity, a third party tuition assistance application provider for independent schools, and the estimated total cost of attendance.

After a family completes their application on the Clarity platform, our internal team uses that information as one of several resources to determine the award amount. Clarity does not determine the amount of tuition assistance you receive; Montgomery School will make that decision independently. Your need is institutionally determined.

Montgomery School partners with Clarity to determine fair and equitable tuition assistance awards for the families we serve. To begin, visit the Clarity Application and create an account. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete, is mobile-friendly, and allows you to save your progress and return at any time. At the end of the application, there is a $60 submission fee. You may also share your application with additional schools that accept the Clarity Application at no extra cost — simply use the dropdown menu in the application to select those schools. 

If you need support at any point throughout the process, Clarity offers in-app support as well as email assistance at support@claritytuition.com in both English and Spanish. The application itself is also fully translated into Spanish.
