While gifts to the Annual Fund help cover the school’s yearly operating expense, Montgomery relies on leadership gifts to capital initiatives and endowment in order to fund larger, long-term needs.
Capital gifts help fund things like facilities expansion and renovations. In 2008 we completed a $6million capital campaign that brought our campus to a new level of excellence. As a result of this campaign we now enjoy the state of the art Sedor Science Center, a large Dining Room, the Kring, Kramer and Thomas Athletic Fields, the W, Perry Gresh Academic Center including the Bennett Hill Library, as well as the renovated and expanded JAZ Music and Choral Room.
Our current capital funding priorities for facilities and equipment are updated regularly. If you are interested in exploring a capital gift, please contact
Kristen Stevens in the Development Office.
Gifts to an endowment help secure the school’s long-term financial stability – and to fund current priorities through ongoing interest generated by the endowment. An endowed fund provides the long-term financial support necessary to sustain everything from faculty salaries to financial aid to building maintenance.
Montgomery’s
strategic plan places a priority on building our endowment with particular emphasis on underwriting Financial Aid. We invite new gifts in this area, or to the general Endowment.
