Annual Fund

The purpose of the Annual Fund is to provide money for the school’s current-year operating expenses.

Annual gifts make up the difference between what tuition covers and the actual cost of running the school. Montgomery School, like all other independent schools, depends upon philanthropic funds raised through voluntary financial support from trustees, parents, past parents, grandparents, alumni and friends. The  Montgomery School Annual Fund is the largest source of income available to close the gap between tuition revenue and operating expenses.

Annual Fund Gifts are usually unrestricted (meaning that the donors allow the school to spend them on whatever it deems necessary) and are almost never spent on items outside the operating budget.
