Winter Uniform Policy: (Begins Monday, October 31st)
Lower School
Prekindergarten
A uniform is not required for our PreK students. Children should dress in comfortable clothing that will encounter paint, play dough, outdoor play, etc. Footwear must be sturdy shoes or sneakers. For safety reasons flip-flops, sandals, and croc-style shoes are not appropriate footwear.
Kindergarten – Grade 4
Girls
- Maroon Plaid Jumper (Purchased through Flynn and O’Hara)
- White polo shirt, collared blouse or turtleneck is to be worn under the jumper.
- Only the maroon cardigan or Montgomery maroon fleece, purchased through Flynn and O’Hara or Lands’ End, will be acceptable attire in the classroom.
- Maroon, white, or gray knee socks or tights are worn with the plaid jumper.
- Footwear must be a flat-heeled, dark brown or black shoe with a closed back.
- Leggings or sweatpants may be worn outside for recess.
Or- Khaki Pants - Khaki pants purchased from Flynn and O’Hara or Lands’ End may also be worn during the winter season.
- A white polo shirt with the Montgomery School monogram or a white turtleneck with the Montgomery School monogram must accompany the pants.
- White or black socks are worn with the khaki pants.
- Footwear must be a flat-heeled, dark brown or black shoe with a closed back.
Boys
- Navy or khaki plain twill pants (Cargo pants are not acceptable)
- White polo shirt or white turtleneck with the Montgomery School monogram must accompany the pants.
- Only maroon sweaters or Montgomery maroon fleece, purchased through Flynn and O’Hara or Lands’ End, will be acceptable attire in the classroom.
- Footwear must be white or black socks and dark brown or black shoes with a closed back.
Grade 5
Girls
- Maroon Plaid Kilt (Purchased through Flynn and O’Hara)
- Kilt should be no shorter than two inches above the knee.
- White long-sleeved polo with the Montgomery School monogram shirt must accompany the kilt. Shirts must be long enough to be tucked in.
- Only maroon sweaters or a Montgomery fleece, purchased through Flynn and O’Hara or Lands’ End, will be acceptable attire in the classroom.
- Maroon, gray, or white knee socks or maroon, gray, or white tights are worn with the plaid kilt.
- Footwear must be a flat-heeled, dark brown or black shoe with a closed back.
Boys
- Navy or khaki plain twill pants or shorts (Cargo pants/shorts are not acceptable)
- A white or light blue long-sleeved oxford shirt. The shirt must be long enough to be tucked in at all times.
- Plain black or brown belt must be worn.
- Footwear must be white or black socks
- Dark brown or black shoes with a closed back.
Middle School
Girls
- Maroon Plaid Kilt (Purchased through Flynn and O’Hara)

- Plain black or brown belt must be worn. Footwear must be white or black socks and dark brown or black shoes with a closed back.
