Borrowing from Montgomery's rich history, and passed down through the decades, the tradition at the opening of each morning Chapel is to sing the Old Hundredth.
The words to this hymn, as sung by the Montgomery School community, are as follows:
-
All people that on earth do dwell,
-
Sing to the Lord with cheerful voice.
-
Serve Him with fear, His praise forth tell;
-
All come before Him and rejoice.

The singing is then followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
