If you visit Montgomery School in person, please tour our beautiful gymnasium. The gymnasium includes locker rooms and bathrooms for boys and for girls, bleachers for watching games, and a removable room divider, so that several activities can take place at once. The foyer includes office space and an open area with large windows and plenty of light. There is also a stage in the gymnasium, used for various productions including the middle school musical.
If you want a tour of our extensive playing fields, wear sturdy shoes! Montgomery School boasts some of the most beautiful and functional fields in the Philadelphia area. On your tour, you will climb the hill located behind the school to find Kring Field, Kramer Field, Thomas Field, and Upper Field. Montgomery School’s playing fields offer a breathtaking view of Chester County. The fields include a regulation sized softball field, boy’s soccer field, and a girl’s soccer/field hockey/lacrosse field. To complete the facilities, Montgomery School also has a second baseball field located within walking distance, near Horseshoe trail.
A tour of Montgomery School’s athletic facilities would not be complete without mentioning our large in-ground pool, which is used during the summer for ESF Summer Camp. Though it is not used during the school year, the pool is a great asset to the ESF Camp, and is used extensively throughout the summer.
