Students

Montgomery School students range from PreK through 8th graders, including many who are new to independent school education. Most of our students come from within a 15-mile radius of the School, with a few traveling greater distances. Each student undergoes a thorough admission process because we feel that matching Montgomery School to the character and needs of each child is important. Our students tend to be friendly, creative, and curious. We appreciate diversity and seek a broad range of skills and interests in our candidates. According to the head of admissions at a prestigious area secondary school, “Montgomery School students tend to be unique individuals who fit well into a community.” The term most often used by our faculty when talking about our students is “enthusiasm,” because Montgomery School students are enthusiastic about learning.
