The Student Government will sponsor a Family Pumpkin Carving Night on Tuesday, October 28th at 6:30 pm in the Dining Room. This event is open to all Lower School families. Admission to the event is $5 per family. Please bring a pumpkin and your carving tools.
It all happens on Friday, October 31st! The children enjoy autumn at Montgomery School. Students will partner with their school buddies for a hayride, find their way through an alien spaceship attraction, pick a jack-be-little pumpkin, play games and enjoy snacks on the decorated campus. All students should drop the dress code and dress appropriately for outdoor activities. Parent volunteers are needed to guide the children on and off the hayride, direct the children through the alien spaceship attraction, monitor games, serve snacks and drinks, provide treats and help set-up and clean up. Due to the limited time for Fall Fun Day activities, as well as keeping all areas clear for the wagon, we ask that only parents who are volunteers attend the day’s earlier activities. Please click "Read More" for volunteer details! The costume parade begins at 2:00 pm, and all parents are encouraged to attend the parade.

Thank you to the families who have already signed up to host the Young Americans on November 9, 10, and 11. The response has been fantastic. However, we are in need of a couple more homestay families! While this marvelous troupe of artists is in town, working with our students, they need host families. Please contact Janis Oeschger for more information, or if you are interested in hosting one or two Young Americans in your home for the duration of their stay. Host families are responsible for transporting their guests to and from Montgomery from Sunday through Wednesday morning, and for providing lodging and some meals. Host families will receive 2 free tickets for Tuesday night's performance. You won't want to miss this wonderful opportunity! Please note that all students in grades 3-8 will need to purchase a T-shirt to wear in the performance on Tuesday evening. The T-shirt order form can be found in the "read more" section below, on the right of the page.
See T-shirt order form to the right.
