IN THE SPOTLIGHT 2nd Annual Math Bowl Bell Hall was filled with a tremendous amount of energy and excitement during last week's Math Bowl! The two teams, Origins and Pythons, did an amazing job answering challenging math questions from the judges. The event ended in an exciting tie-breaker, with a final score of Origins 16, Pythons 14. Congratulations to all who participated and a special thanks to Mr. Rajarigam, Mrs. Macciocca and all of the faculty judges! "If you can do math, you can do anything!"
Happy New Year! Last Thursday, our third grade students celebrated the Chinese New Year. They made their own Chinese lanterns, enjoyed delicious treats and a traditional dragon parade! AROUND CAMPUS Lost and Found Prior to mid-winter break, please ask your children to check the Lost and Found located near the nurse's office for any items that may be missing. We have collected a lot of fleeces, jackets, hats, and gloves.
A Message from the Nurse Unfortunately, germs can easily spread and your child may be contagious even before they start to have fever or significant symptoms. Please be considerate of other students and staff and keep your child home if you have any doubts about their wellness.
Your child should remain at home at least 24 hours after their temperature is less than 99.9 without tylenol or ibuprofen, diarrhea or vomiting, or started on antibiotics. MIDDLE SCHOOL MUSICAL This week, the cast learned two major choreography numbers and they are only a few scenes away from having the entire show blocked and choreographed! The students are hard at work memorizing lines, lyrics, choreography, and blocking. Next they will add in all of the tech elements, sets, and props!
