Car Name Cards

Your name card must be visible on your dashboard when picking up your child(ren) in car line. This is imperative for the safety of the students and to ensure efficiency during the dismissal process. If you need extra cards, please contact Wendy Walton.

September 25, 9:00 AM

"Check In" Coffee for All 6th Grade and New Middle School Parents

Join Paulsson Rajarigam and Deb Goggins for coffee in the dining room immediately following Middle School Chapel. This is a casual "check-in" for parents to answer any outstanding questions about the transition to Middle School.

September 26, 9:00 AM

"Check In" Coffee for All New Lower School Parents

Join Susan Marotta and Deb Goggins for coffee in the dining room immediately following Lower School Chapel. This is a casual "check-in" for parents to help with your transition to Montgomery School, answer any questions and discuss upcoming school events.

September 27 - 28

8th Grade Leadership Retreat

On September 27, our 8th grade students will embark on a two-day leadership retreat at Refreshing Mountain Retreat and Adventure Center in Lancaster, PA. During this retreat, students will be challenged to step out of their comfort zone, to reflect on their personal leadership journeys, and to cast a vision for positive influence in the spheres in which they find themselves at Montgomery and beyond.

September 28, 7:00 PM

Middle School Dance

The first middle school dance of the year will be in the Dining Hall at 7:00 PM, on Friday, September 28th. The cost for the dance is $5 per student. The car line will run in the opposite direction for pick up at 9:00 PM. To help with dismissal, please arrive promptly at 9:00 PM.

September 29, 6:00 - 10:00 PM
Parents' Night Out
Our first Parents' Night Out is this Saturday! Students can be dropped off in the Dining Room at 6:00 PM in their pajamas and sneakers. They will enjoy pizza, dessert, playtime in the gym and the movie Monsters vs. Aliens on the big screen! Pick up is by 10:00 PM. To register please email Wendy Walton. Cost is $25 for the 1st child and $15 for each sibling, due at time of drop off. For Montgomery School Families Only.

Saturday, October 13

Practice ISEE Exam

A practice ISEE exam will take place for all 8th grade students on Saturday, October 13th. The test begins at 8:30 AM; students should arrive no later than 8:15 AM in the Dining Room.

Fall Enrichments

Chemical Engineering and Let's Make Pizza both start this week! Our 3rd-5th grade students will develop solutions to clean up an oil spill, synthesize their own rocket fuel, and investigate the secrets behind color pigmentation. The K-6th grade students will make dinner and give their parents a night off! They will make 4 custom individual pizzas with a variety of toppings to take home and enjoy! Registration ends today. Traveling Back in Time

Our 5th grade students completed their sidewalk timeline last week. They began at 2018 AD, or CE, and walked back through time, all the way back to 453,000 BC, or BCE! They went so far, they ran out of sidewalk! Students had a great time learning about human history and were able to truly understand just a portion of the existence of mankind. This lesson, led by Mrs. Kelly, really put time into perspective for our students. To see just how far they went, watch the video.
