September 13, 7:00 PM Lower School Parent Night The program will begin promptly at 7 pm in Bell Hall, and parents will then move to their child's classroom. This is an important event in starting off the year well, so please make every effort to attend. It's also a great way to meet fellow parents in our community!
September 14 On Friday, September 14th, our middle school students and faculty will be white water rafting with Jim Thorpe River Adventures. In order for your child to participate, parents and students MUST complete and sign the Release of Liability Form which will be sent home with your child along with a list of what to bring. Please return your child's form to Patty Kirkner in the Farmhouse. COMING UP September 20, 7:00 PM Middle School Parent Night We will begin promptly at 7 pm in Bell Hall. Parents will be given a copy of their child's schedule and time to meet with each teacher. This is a great way to meet your child's teachers, so please make every effort to attend.
September 21, 5:30 PM Annual Family Picnic Join us for our annual family picnic on Friday, September 21st. A buffet dinner will be available in the Dining Room from 5:30 - 7:00 PM. Casual dress. Bring a blanket, lawn chairs, and whatever else you need for a picnic. Please be sure to keep an eye on your children throughout the picnic. Children may not be on the playground or other areas of campus without parental supervision.MSCA AND COMMUNITY EVENTS MSCA AND COMMUNITY EVENTS Annual Gresh Memorial Golf Classic This year's tournament is being held on Monday, October 15 at Whitford Country Club and online registration is open! The day includes lunch, a round of golf with cart, beverages, the 19th hole cocktail hour, dinner and auction.

Register Now for Fall Enrichments! IN THE SPOTLIGHT Leading the Way At our first all-school chapel on Friday, the 8th Grade Students escorted their Kindergarten buddies into chapel. This time-standing tradition signifies new beginnings for our Kindergarten students as they embark on their Montgomery School journey, and for our 8th grade students as they become leaders of the school. AROUND CAMPUS "Turn your Key; Monty is Now Idle Free" Monty's 2017-2018 Girl Scout Cadette troop , as part of their annual service project, researched the harmful effects of CO emissions. Research has shown 1 in 10 kids have some form of or issues related to asthma. Car emission pollution is a big irritant for this population of kids. The Monty Cadette troop has donated a new sign as a friendly reminder that when you are parked near the Lower School playground, to "turn your key and be idle free." To sign up for alerts, go to the Athletics Calendar and click on the Alarm Bell in the upper right hand corner. Simply follow the instructions to receive alerts by email or text.
Registration for OT Sports is open! OT Sports is offered to Lower School students throughout the year and takes place from 3:15 - 4:15 pm on Fridays. Sessions begin on September 14 and will focus on a variety of sport specific skills and will be directed by Director of Athletics, Carolyn Blair. We will keep it positive and fun at all times! 5th Grade Sports This Fall we will offer the 5th graders the opportunity to play on the Middle School boys soccer, girls soccer, cross country, or field hockey teams. Students who choose to participate in this program will practice with the Middle School teams on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:15 - 4:15 PM, and they will play in 3 games during the fall season. Practice will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 12 and the final practice will be Tuesday, October 24. For more information and to register click here.
