Admissions Open House, Thursday, 11/9, 6:30 -8 pm!  Invite a Friend!

Do you know a family that you think would be a great addition to our Montgomery community? Invite them to join us next Thursday evening for an Admissions Open House (and feel free to come along with them...you'll be amazed at what you'll learn!). They'll meet teachers, parents and students while exploring our campus and participating in some interactive classroom lessons. Pass this flyer along to your friends and encourage them to sign up for any of our events on the admissions page of our website.

"Homestay" Families for Young Americans Needed!

You won't want to miss this opportunity to invite a cast member to stay at your home!  During their last visit, our families felt that this was one of the most rewarding parts of the program.  If you are interested in hosting two or more of the Young Americans for three nights, please download, print and complete this HOMESTAY form and return to School by Friday, November 3rd.  Please contact Julie Diaz at (484-889-7421) with any questions.  All 3rd - 8th GRADE PARENTS - please be sure to have your waiver and T-shirt order in soon!

Time to Turn Your Clock Back November 5th
Daylight Saving Time Ends on Sunday, November 5th at 2:00 am.  Don't forget to "fall back" and get that extra hour of sleep.

Veteran's Day Chapel, Friday, November 10th

On Friday, November 10th, we will be celebrating our Veterans Day Chapel. Please extend an invitation to all veterans to join us for Chapel. This year's speaker is Christopher Bower, uncle of Cassandra and Ella Stinger. Christopher is a graduate of Villanova University. After 17 years of service and three tours of duty in Iraq, Chris retired as a Major from the Marine Corp. He is currently a member of the FBI. 

Winter Uniform Change: November 6th

Cold weather has arrived and girls may start wearing leggings as part of their uniform. Uggs (plain black, brown, or grey) may be worn by Middle School girls beginning November 6th.  Also starting November 6th, boys should wear long pants and K-4 girls should wear tunics or long khaki pants. Please consult our uniform policy for the specifics on colors, styles, etc..

OT (Overtime) Sports! Registration

Flag football and cheerleading will begin on 11/3!
Mr. Naylor and Mrs. Blair will run flag football and cheerleading will be coached by two West Chester University cheerleaders!  Please use this link to register.

Directories for Purchase!
If you would like an additional directory for your car, office, etc.  you may purchase one at the Farmhouse.  Cost  is $10 and they will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.  The Montgomery directory is for official Montgomery School use, and for individual communication of a personal nature between community members listed in the directory. Use of the directory for any other purpose is prohibited. 

 Bus & Car Dismissal on Tuesday, November 14th!
There will be an All School 3:15 Dismissal on Tuesday, November 14th. Afternoons will be available. All Middle School students riding 4:15 car will be changed to 3:15 car and All 4:15 bus riders will be changed to the 3:15 bus. Please be sure to make a dismissal change, if necessary. We hope you plan to return in the evening for the Young Americans performance at 7 pm.

Enrichment Spotlight:  Aerospace Engineering & PreK Music Makers Starting November 7th

Parents Night Out, Saturday, November 18th

Candy Collection for our Troops

Fourth grade students will be collecting candy for our troops. Please bring in any extra Halloween candy in large zip lock bags. We will send the donated candy to Operation Gratitude, along with letters to the troops overseas. All candy is due by Monday, November 6th in order to be shipped on time. 

Mug Refill Needed

Our Dining Room is in need of mugs.  If you have any mugs you'd like to part with, please drop them off in the Dining Room with Chef Ron or in the Farmhouse.

Shoeboxes Needed

The Lower School Art Classes are in need of shoeboxes. If you would like to donate yours, please drop them off in the Farmhouse.
