InService Day for Teachers 10/6 and Columbus Day 10/9

Classes will not be is session for students on Friday, 10/6 due to an InService Day.  Also, we will be observing Columbus Day on Monday, October 9th.  School will be closed both days.  Enjoy your long weekend.  MSD camp is available on both days if you are in need of childcare.

Admissions Open House and NEW Thursday Tours!

Most families who choose to explore Montgomery for their children do so because they already know a Montgomery family. Do you have friends who have expressed interest in Montgomery School? Be sure to invite them to join us at one of our upcoming events. We'll be hosting the first of our Thursday Tour series on October 5th from 9-10 AM. Thursday tours will continue every other Thursday through Thanksgiving. We will also be greeting families at weekend and evening Admission Open House events. Breast Cancer Awareness Pink Day 10/11

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Montgomery School will be hosting Pink Day on Wednesday, October 11th.  To participate in the fight against breast cancer, we are asking students to donate $1 and to wear their favorite pink shirt, socks, hair accessory, shoes, and more! 

First Parent Night Out of the Year! This Saturday, 9/30

Join us for a fun night at PNO this Saturday from 6-10 pm. Students come in their pjs & sneakers for a pizza dinner and dessert in the Dining Room. Then we are off to play in the Gym and watch a movie in Bell Hall. Blankets, pillows, and a stuffed animal friend are welcome. Cost $25 for the 1st child, $15 for each sibling, for ages 4 and up. Enrichment Spotlight: 3D Printing & 3D Video Game Design

STEAM Elective

For the Fall STEAM elective, we are designing and building racing chariots. We are looking for wheels and axles, small diameter PVC pipes and wooden planks.  If you have any of these items or any old strollers or wheelbarrows, that we could salvage the wheels from, please bring them to Sedor science lab. The MSCA is selling valuable, family-friendly KidStuff Coupon Books filled with hundreds of national, regional and local coupons for all ages! The $25 KidStuff Book is conveniently organized, offers incredible savings and is sold exclusively through schools! Middle School students received order forms from their advisors, lower school student forms were sent home in backpacks. The MSCA earns 50% or more profit for every book we sell. Deadline for orders is 10/6.
