Aiming to promote and maintain socioeconomic diversity among our student population, Montgomery demonstrates a strong commitment to need-based financial aid by providing a share of the School’s budget to fund the financial needs of its students in Kindergarten through Grade Eight.
While we are fortunate to provide financial aid for independent schooling, we believe that families bear the primary responsibility for financing education to the extent that they are able. Our financial aid program exists to help assure that any admitted student with demonstrated need will have the opportunity to attend Montgomery School.
Montgomery School is a member of the School and Student Services for Financial Aid (SSS), which assists independent schools in determining a family’s financial need. The Report of Family Contribution, which is computed by SSS is reviewed by our financial aid committee and serves as a guideline in making financial aid decisions. The report does not bind the School to any specific award. Any family with children attending Montgomery’s Kindergarten through Grade Eight may apply for aid.
Montgomery School accepts financial aid applications from families of any race, religion, national and ethnic origin. Throughout the administration of educational admission policies, financial aid programs and athletic or other school-administered programs, the School does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national or ethnic origin.
