A Message from Kevin Conklin, Head of School
At Montgomery School you will find a rich learning environment that nurtures and challenges students to be their best. As a school, we support children in developing critical thinking skills that will serve them in all aspects of their lives. The world we are living in is changing faster than ever, and we are committed to preparing children to be successful in the world they will enter.

Children are eager learners; their curiosity is boundless. They want to know how to read, they want to solve every problem, they want to see that their world is fair and just, and in the process they want to have fun. At Montgomery the development of the whole child is at the heart of our curriculum. Our academic program is structured to meet the developmental growth of children, and is balanced with strong arts and physical education curricula. The "other curriculum," that of social, moral and ethical development, is addressed in our everyday interactions, at our family style lunches and in our non-sectarian chapel program. Most importantly, Montgomery School teachers know how to bring out the best in children. They do so by encouraging their strengths and supporting them as they encounter new challenges.

Montgomery School is a community made up of educators and families. By working in concert we make Montgomery a place where students are not afraid to take risks in their learning and grow up knowing how to take advantage of the opportunities that await them.

The best way to discover Montgomery School is to come for a visit. As you tour the school you will see teachers working with children and children playing together. It is the school community at work that truly represents the spirit of Montgomery School. Come find out for yourself.

Sincerely,
Kevin R. Conklin
